Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt: Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt Response: One of the things that I will never fully understand is why people refuse to empathize with others. This is often not a problem for most people, but some I feel lack the ability or desire to even try to understand other individuals. You can see this in the great political divide of our country, where the biases people have led to a sort of unconditional hatred regardless if they know each other or not. I just hope in the future more people will be willing to get to see each others views in hopes to reach understanding instead of resentment.

Summary: I'm not exactly sure what we did today as I am home sick, but hopefully I will catch up tomorrow.

Reflection: Today I woke up feeling quite bad and decided it would be best for me to stay home and rest. Although I was quite miserable initially, I think I'm feeling better as the day goes on.

Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?
