Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt: Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt Response: Some of my biggest questions about life often lie in what happens (if anything at all) after death. When I was younger, I wondered what really happens after you die, and came out the realization that know one really knows. I know now that it's best to really live the life you have now, and not trouble yourself with problems that simply don't have answers. Another question I had was why we were here in the first place, and for that I came to a similar conclusion. There isn't a defined purpose, we're simply here, and we should make the most of that as is.

Summary: Today we started writing our own creation stories after reading the example created by our teacher.

Reflection: I quite enjoy creation stories so I find it somewhat intriguing to be given the chance to write my own. Hopefully it turns out well, and I get a good grade on it.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In “We Real Cool,” the speakers make choices that seem exciting, bold, and rebellious, even though those choices lead to consequences. Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?
