 Prompt: Write about something that you wish you had more of. 

Prompt Response: I'd say I'm pretty content with what I have now, but I suppose it would be nice if I had more money. With said money I would be able to buy more clothes among other smaller things that I would want without bothering my parents. I may also want more time, as I could get more work done and also relax and or sleep more without guilt. With this extra time I could also join more clubs while still having time to myself at home.

Summary: Today we worked on our visual representations of our origin stories in the program Adobe Express.

Reflection: Although I did finish my project, the program was very laggy on my part, and constantly shut down my computer. However I now realize it may be a problem with my computer as others were able to complete it without issue.

Prompt: Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.  Prompt Response:  My handwriting and notes seem to have around the same legibility of hieroglyphics (hyperbole). There was just a bit of tension and squabbling when we talked about hyperbole (understatement). I did in fact, not learn nothing today (litotes). Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. Prompt: In  “ We Real Cool ,”  the speakers make choices that seem exciting, bold, and rebellious, even though those choices lead to consequences. Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later? Prompt Response:  One moment in which I followed what was "cool" at the time was in elementary school. During this one particular phase, many of my peers were beginning to learn and use swear words when adults wren't in the room. In my juvenile mind, most of the swears I "learned" didn't feel like real words, which left me skeptical of those who taught me them.
