Prompt: Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on activities. Select one and tell why.

Prompt Response: The learning method I believe I enjoy the most out of the three provided answers has to be hands-on activities. I said this as I already receive a lot of worksheet work and  discussions in my other classes, leading me to feel that I haven't experienced many hands-on activities this year. Hands-on activities also seem to be more intriguing than other work, as they have the capacity to be very creative assignments. I also find it hard to participate well in class discussions as I really don't enjoy public speaking, often leading me to mess up. All in all, I don't mind any of the aforementioned categories, but it would be nice to have more hands-on activities.

Summary: Today we finished our poems and started on a poster including an animated character.

Reflection: I think that my poem turned out to be quite profound, which I was not expecting in the slightest. I'm not excited to present it however as I really don't like my recorded voice to the point where I'd rather just present it by mouth.

Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In “We Real Cool,” the speakers make choices that seem exciting, bold, and rebellious, even though those choices lead to consequences. Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?
