 Prompt: What did you do over break?

Prompt Response: Over the break I simultaneously did a lot of things as well as nothing at all, which is kind of hard to believe. For the first few days I really didn't do anything except play video games and watch shows, with the exception of my friend's birthday party which I went to. At Thanksgiving I went to my grandmother's house and stayed there for the whole day, eating dinner a bit earlier than usual. I surprisingly didn't overeat which was a nice feeling, especially seeing by brother complain about the very thing. For the last few days I put up the decorations at my moms house and brought out the Christmas tree, which I sadly had to help light. All in all, my break was pretty enjoyable and I look forward to winter break which should hopefully come soon.

Summary: Today in class we completed vocabulary lesson five and fulfilled some of its related activities.

Reflection: I found a lot of the new words to be somewhat familiar, which allowed me to fill in the blanks quite quickly. At the end of class when me and my friends were done with the work, we played the game WorldGuesser, which involves being given a photo of a place and having to figure out where in the world it is.

Prompt: Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.  Prompt Response:  My handwriting and notes seem to have around the same legibility of hieroglyphics (hyperbole). There was just a bit of tension and squabbling when we talked about hyperbole (understatement). I did in fact, not learn nothing today (litotes). Summary: Today in class we took notes and had a discussion about rhetorical devices. Reflection:  I felt that I learned quite a bit today, especially about litotes which I had no prior knowledge of. Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

Prompt:  Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  Prompt Response:  One thing that I can't stop thinking about is a certain video game I'm currently going through. For a while now I really haven't been playing many games, but after this specific one released I haven't been able to stop. I think it's good that I'm really enjoying it, but at the same time I shouldn't let it get in the way of my work and life. All in all, I just have to make sure my other responsibilities come first before I turn on the console, or things could get out of hand. Summary: Today in class we were introduced to our final project and had our electives chosen. Reflection:  The meeting with my counselor today seemed to go quite well, and I should hopefully get into all of my desired classes. However, there are still some adjustments that need to be made in the near future.
