Prompt: Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Prompt Response: One moment that felt like a beginning of a powerful story was when I was saying goodbye to my 5th grade elementary school teachers at the beginning of the pandemic. At this time I was feeling very confused, sad, fearful, and hopeful at what could be next in my life, which could definitely be seen as the start of a story. If it was, maybe it could be a firsthand account of what the pandemic was like and the effects it had on my upbringing.

Summary: Today in class we started writing our own rhetorical analysis essays.

Reflection: It took me a while to get started on the assignment, however I was able to get some sentences in. If I was given one more class period I could certainly complete it.

Prompt: Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.  Prompt Response:  My handwriting and notes seem to have around the same legibility of hieroglyphics (hyperbole). There was just a bit of tension and squabbling when we talked about hyperbole (understatement). I did in fact, not learn nothing today (litotes). Prompt:  Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.  Prompt Response:  One thing that I can't stop thinking about is a certain video game I'm currently going through. For a while now I really haven't been playing many games, but after this specific one released I haven't been able to stop. I think it's good that I'm really enjoying it, but at the same time I shouldn't let it get in the way of my work and life. All in all, I just have to make sure my other responsibilities come first before I turn on the console, or things could get out of hand. Summary: Today in class we were introduced to our final project and had our electives chosen. Reflection:  The meeting with my counselor today seemed to go quite well, and I should hopefully get into all of my desired classes. However, there are still some adjustments that need to be made in the near future.
