If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

Prompt: If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

Prompt Response: If I could go anywhere and do anything for spring break, I would like to go on a trip outside of the country with my friends and or family. I would probably go to a country with good food and nature, perhaps South Korea, as it is fairly welcoming towards outsiders. On this trip I'd go to a lot of trails/parks and participate in a lot of touristy activities as I've never really gotten to do that before. I hope one day this trip could become reality.

Summary: We didn't have class today due to the assembly.

Reflection: I like that we have a lot of breaks spread out through the school year. I would in fact trade them for a shorter week involving four days of work and three days of relaxation/weekend.

Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In “We Real Cool,” the speakers make choices that seem exciting, bold, and rebellious, even though those choices lead to consequences. Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?
