Prompt: Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.

Prompt Response: I'd say the most challenging part of the annotated bibliography was the summary, as it's hard to encapsulate a very large source within three sentences. This challenge helped me grow as a researcher in the way that it got me into a rhythm of sorts, allowing me to be a more efficient writer. This will help me write my research paper much faster, which will be quite useful.

Summary: Today in class we started our annotated bibliographies.

Reflection: I got five of my ten sources completed in class today. I found it to be challenging at first as sometimes I couldn't find the right words to write my summaries.

Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.
